Working in retail, commercial and residential sectors predominantly in Auckland, New Zealand, The Icon Group has a proven track record of adding capital value to its acquisitions via well thought out improvements whilst simultaneously creating stronger tenancies and unified spaces.

History.

The Icon Group has proven its ability to grow since its inception in 2009, having transacted over 1,000 titles to date.

The Icon Group’s apartment trading company ‘Iconicity’ formed in 2009 and became the largest private buyer and seller of second hand apartments in New Zealand. Such was the rate of growth that the company was placed 13th in the Deloitte Fast 50 awards in 2012.

In 2014 The Icon Group moved to a focus on Auckland City commercial real estate where a focus on heritage and character buildings became a hallmark of the company’s stamp on the Auckland CBD.

In 2017 the company won a Rider Levett Property Council Award for its restoration of Auckland’s St Kevins Arcade.

In 2021 the company continued to grow by continuing to invest in commercial real estate and by geographically expanding away from Auckland and focusing New Zealand wide. It’s investments now include malls, shopping centres, supermarkets, cool storage facilities, gas stations and apartments throughout the country,
