Queens Ferry Building

The Queens Ferry building comprises of three levels plus basement occupying a 118m2 site in central Auckland City.
This stunning heritage-listed property has been registered as Category 1 under the Historic Places Act in recognition of its aesthetic, architectural and social significance. Built in the 1850s, its ornate façade and other decorative details make it a rare surviving example of a Victorian-era ‘row’ public house in central Auckland.
Vulcan Lane comprises a popular and fashionable precinct which is dominated by cafes, restaurants/bars and fashion retailers and is characterised by older style lower rise buildings generally erected during the 1880 – 1940 period.
